| Job Description | • Manager – Software/Application Development is responsible for software application design, development and testing, Implementation and Support.
• Work as the team leader of an application development team developing, designing, testing and maintaining one or more projects.
• This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
• Consult with internal and external business partners to develop technical solutions.
• Design integrated technical solutions for proprietary software.
• Train, develop and mentor other engineers and technical staff.
• ensure adherence to architecture standards, code consistency and maintainability.
• Ability to develop solutions with long-term cost effectiveness.
• Provide application support and maintenance .
• Ability to comprehend information verbally and in writing and ability to communicate information effectively.
• Provide information to supervisors, project managers and co-workers and keep them up to date.
• Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
• Create well-structured programming routines.
• Maintain quality in coding, design and testing per industry standards.

| Skill Required | • Programming and Application/Software development experience of 7+ years.
• Bachelors or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems - Masters or graduate degree is desirable.
• Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
• Web application development for remote monitoring and control systems with telecommunication gateway interface.
• Experience in the following technologies is a must: Oracle, BEA, Java, J2EE, HTML, XML, .NET 1.1/2.0, C#.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server 2005/2008.
• Experience in Windows and Linux platforms
• Develop applications in Intranet and Internet technologies (TCP/IP)
• Web application development for remote monitoring and control systems with telecommunication gateway interface.
• Have very good knowledge of software development processes and methods
• Must possess a very strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies.
• Experience in using supporting development tools.
• Must possess experience in leading a project from start to completion.
• Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Software development of applications and Internet applications
• Desirable experience in project and resources management.
• Leadership qualities: Integrity, attention to detail, timeline sensitive, goal oriented, motivator.
• Experience in working with internal and external parties.
• Ability to interface with all levels in customer organization
