| Job Description | Profile
The Area Sales Manager (Libya) will be responsible for selling the full range of the Company’s products and services directly to existing clients and self generated prospects, to meet or exceed annual targets. This position will be based in Libya and will report directly to the General Manager North Africa.
Job Functions
▪ Oversee the day-to-day sales activities in Libya.
▪ Effectively manage relationships with internal and external customers and all other stakeholders in Libya.
▪ Lead and manage the performance of all sales and service engineers to ensure all targets set are achieved.
▪ Meet and exceed the annual budget.
▪ Drive the agent in Libya to promote our service capabilities and exceed market expectations.
▪ Develop a strong “Customer Service” culture.
▪ Coordinate and liaise with Sales administration and Technical Manager to generate proper Technical and Commercial quotations, follow up and support.
▪ Coordinate with customers & Service Manager to handle refurbishment and service jobs.
▪ Study and manage tender processes, contract reviews and legal negotiations.
▪ Promotion of new products, couplings, etc.
▪ Report and follow up with line manager.
▪ Managing the Service Centre and its operation.

| Skill Required | ▪ Libyan national will be an advantage.
▪ Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
▪ Computer literate in MS Office, MS Outlook
▪ University degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
Professional Skills and Experience:
▪ 10+ years of professional experience in engineering, sales & service.
▪ A strong technical/ product knowledge or ability to learn about the Company’s product portfolio.
▪ Experience in rotating equipment products sales and services.
▪ Rotating equipment knowledge is a must.
▪ Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment.
▪ Ability to discuss and negotiate at all levels.
▪ Pleasant appearance, charismatic and outgoing personality.
▪ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
